ProDevice DWS (Data Wipe System) is a software designed for the permanent destruction of data stored on data media through controlled overwriting. This process results in the irreversible removal of information, preventing it from being recovered using standard methods or specialized digital forensics tools. Once the operation is completed, the storage media remains fully functional and can be reused to store new data. The solution enables storage media to be securely prepared for further use, transfer to another user, or decommissioning in accordance with applicable security requirements.
ProDevice DWS is part of the ProDevice ecosystem, which includes products used for the storage, transportation, data erasure, and physical destruction of storage media, as well as software solutions that enable the management of processes related to data security
Data protection
Permanent data destruction from storage media minimizes the risk of confidential data leakage and its recovery after the media has been decommissioned.
Compliance with requirements
Secure data destruction follows compliance with applicable regulations and internal organizational policies concerning information protection and the secure disposal of data.
Cost optimization
With the rising costs of storage media, securely erasing and reusing existing media can help reduce IT infrastructure expenses.
Secure data erasure preventing data recovery
Secure erasure of data from various types of storage media, including internal and external HDDs and SSDs (IDE/ATA, SCSI, SAS, SATA and NVMe), USB drives and SD cards. Data can be erased from up to 16 storage media simultaneously.
17 data erasure algorithms
The solution offers 17 predefined data overwriting algorithms, including the internationally recognized **U.S. DoD 5220.22-M ECE** data sanitization specification. Once the erasure process is completed, the data cannot be recovered and the storage media can be safely reused.
Secure HPA/DCO area erasure
Permanent erasure of data stored in HPA/DCO areas, which cannot be removed using standard data deletion methods.
License authentication and data erasure history anagement via QR code
Offline access to data erasure history and license information is available through a QR code, enabling convenient verification and management of the erasure process.
Data erasure verification
Verification of the erasure results after the storage media has been wiped. This allows the user to confirm that the data erasure process has been completed successfully.
Formatting a storage medium or deleting files does not physically destroy the data stored on it. In most cases, these operations only remove information about the location of files while leaving their actual content on the storage medium until it is overwritten. As a result, the data may still be recovered using specialized data recovery software.
Permanent data erasure using ProDevice DWS involves controlled overwriting of areas of the storage medium containing data. This process results in the irreversible destruction of the stored information, preventing it from being recovered while preserving the full functionality of the storage medium and allowing it to be reused.

Software license purchase
The customer receives a software license and independently performs the permanent data erasure process within their own environment.
On-site data erasure
Our specialists perform the permanent data erasure process directly at the customer’s premises, ensuring full control over the operation and the security of the storage media.
Remote data erasure
The secure data erasure process is performed by our specialists remotely using a secure, encrypted network connection, eliminating the need for our specialists to be physically present at the customer’s premises.
