Before that happens, data media often need to be stored, handled and transported safely and this is where our ProDevice USC (Universal Storage Cases) come in.

Available in four sizes (Small, Medium, Large and XLarge) , the USC range can be adapted to different types and quantities of data media, including HDDs, SSDs and magnetic tapes. Depending on the model and media type, a single case can hold up to 120 2.5″ HDDs or SSDs.

The cases are designed to protect media against water, dust, shocks and vibration, while the internal storage system keeps every item securely separated and organised. For situations where additional control is required, an optional GPS tracking solution can also provide real-time visibility of the case during transport.

Data management does not begin with destruction. It starts much earlier, with knowing where your data media are and making sure they are properly protected at every stage.
